Stoel Rives LLP offers law students, experienced lawyers and other professionals unique career and personal opportunities. With approximately 350 lawyers and a broad and diverse client base, Stoel Rives' practice encompasses virtually every area of legal expertise. We have more than 30 practice areas that focus on selected industries and discrete areas of the law, and we offer the kinds of professional opportunities available at only a handful of firms.

We don't know about other big firms, but we think life here is pretty good. The technological capability and diversity of experience in a firm of our size add up to better results for our clients and more satisfying careers for our lawyers. The scope of our practice means that when a particularly difficult legal question arises, you will usually be able to find a colleague who has handled a similar situation and can provide guidance.

Working for one of our smaller offices is a lot like working for a smaller firm, without losing the resources and opportunities available at a large firm. Each of our offices has a personality of its own, and as a firm we do as much (or meddle as little) as possible to preserve the individual characters of those offices.
