Overview

Megan Bradford is an associate in Stoel Rives’ Labor & Employment group, where she focuses her practice on employment disputes and litigation.

Before joining Stoel Rives, Megan served as a Deputy District Attorney in Boulder, Colorado, where she tried over fifty jury trials and handled a variety of high-stakes criminal prosecutions, including sexual assaults, violent felonies, and white-collar cases. After her time as a prosecutor, Megan clerked for Colorado Court of Appeals Judge Ted C. Tow III, where she handled a broad range of civil and criminal appeals and drafted nearly fifty appellate judicial opinions. While in law school, Megan interned for Justice William W. Hood III on the Colorado Supreme Court and was a regional champion and national finalist in the NTC-TYLA national mock trial competition.

Outside of work, Megan teaches trial advocacy as an adjunct professor at Lewis & Clark law school. Before moving to Oregon, Megan also taught trial advocacy as an adjunct professor at the University of Colorado Law School. She is frequently invited to serve as a presiding judge in college and law school mock trial competitions.

Experience

  • Obtained unanimous defense verdict following a one-week jury trial against claim of workers’ compensation discrimination.
  • Represented health care client in retaliation (whistleblower) lawsuit and obtained defense verdict following a jury trial.
  • Regularly counsels health care clients on issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic, including vaccinations, religious accommodations, and ADA and Title VII issues.
