Overview
Auburn Wise is an associate in the Tax Section of the Benefits, Tax, and Private Client Group. She assists businesses and individuals with a variety of federal, state, and local tax issues, including income, property, sales and use, excise, and employment taxes. Her practice focuses on tax matters related to business entities and corporate transactions.
Auburn assists clients with tax considerations and general tax planning for business transactional matters, including corporate and partnership taxation, choice of entity and entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and recapitalizations, liquidations, tax-free reorganizations, pass-through entities, S corporation and limited liability company transactions, finance transactions, and equity compensation, including incentive stock options, nonqualified stock options, restricted stock and restricted stock units, stock appreciation rights, employee stock purchase plans and related tax issues.
