Overview

Sara Wadsworth is an associate in Stoel Rives’ Litigation group. Sara represents a wide variety of clients in all phases of litigation and has knowledge and experience working with appeals and appellate procedure. Prior to joining Stoel Rives, Sara served as a judicial law clerk at the Washington State Supreme Court to both Justice Raquel Montoya-Lewis (2020) and retired Chief Justice Mary E. Fairhurst (2019).

During law school, Sara gained experience in litigation strategy by working as a summer associate for Stoel Rives, as an extern to the Honorable John J. Tuchi of the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona, and as a law clerk for the Washington State Office of the Attorney General, Torts Division. Sara has an interest in identifying developing areas of the law and explored that interest as the articles editor for the Arizona State Law Journal. She also held several esteemed research and teaching assistant positions focusing on Constitutional and Tort law.

Prior to attending law school, Sara worked in higher education, where she interpreted and applied federal immigration regulations and statutes.
