Quinby Discusses Cleantech Investment Strategies in Star Tribune

Stoel Rives attorney David Quinby discussed cleantech investment strategies in the Star Tribune. After a torrid 2008, the cleantech sector recently suffered the largest quarterly decline in venture capital investment, with funding down 84 percent through March of this year.

Quinby said that given current capital constraints, cleantech ventures will likely build plants that share space with existing production facilities. He also noted that the recent passage of the U.S. economic stimulus package may offer research grants, tax credits and loan guarantees to qualifying cleantech ventures.
