Solar Energy Chapter of Stoel Rives Stimulus Handbook Now Available in Chinese

PORTLAND- Stoel Rives LLP, a full-service U.S. business law firm, today announced the publication of a Chinese translation of a portion of the firm's guide to federal clean energy funding opportunities under the $787 billion American Recovery and Reinvestment Act ("ARRA"). Titled "Show Me The Money," the guide reviews the various programs and potential sources of federal funding for clean energy companies and projects. The translation, prepared in cooperation with the Columbia River Economic Development Council, focuses on the funding opportunities under the ARRA specific to the solar energy industry.

"We believe that the ARRA funding will provide an important and significant boost to the U.S. solar energy sector over the next 18 months," said Mike Mangelson, a member of the Stoel Rives China Services practice group. "With many Chinese and Taiwanese companies actively engaged in this sector, we felt it was important to offer a Chinese version of our guide for those businesses looking to take advantage of the ARRA programs here in the United States."
