Edna Vassilovski Joins Stoel Rives LLP

MINNEAPOLIS - The law firm of Stoel Rives LLP announced today that Edna Vassilovski has joined the Minneapolis office as a member of the Technology and Intellectual Property group. Ms. Vassilovski will collaborate with innovative companies to help them capture, protect and maximize the value of their ideas.
Prior to joining Stoel Rives, Ms. Vassilovski was in-house counsel at a large, multi-national grain and oilseeds company, complimenting a special interest in biofuels and bio-based chemicals and materials. In addition, she has significant experience working with food and nutrachemicals, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, biotechnology, semi-conductors, medical devices and mechanical engineering. Ms. Vassilovski also works with open innovator companies that collaborate with external companies on innovation generation and is available to assist with a number of varied intellectual property cases and issues concerned with and pertaining to; counsel, management, evaluation, development, assessment and patentability.
Ms. Vassilovski received her J.D. in 1995 from Columbia University as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, her M.A. in Chemistry from Harvard University as a NIH Grant recipient and her B.S., with distinction, from Stanford University.
