Stoel Rives Director Named President of the ALA

SEATTLE - Stoel Rives, a U.S. business law firm, is pleased to announce that Rita M. Alli, director of the firm's Business and Professional Development department, has been appointed President of the Association of Legal Administrators ("ALA"). With more than 10,000 members in 30 countries, ALA represents legal administrators who are leaders and industry experts on legal management issues such as finance, human resources, systems and technology, facilities, marketing and practice management. As president, Alli will guide the ALA's strategic planning and will oversee all board, inter-association and media spokesperson activities.

Alli, who joined Stoel Rives in 2006, has been an active member of the ALA since 1995. Nationally, she was appointed to two consecutive terms as At-Large Director in 2006. She is affiliated with the Puget Sound Chapter ("PSALA"), where she has served on numerous board positions, and served as Chapter President from 2000 to 2001. Alli was presented with the Spirit of PSALA Award in 2006.
