Stoel Rives Welcomes Daniel Mueller to its Portland Office and Labor and Employment Team

Stoel Rives LLP, a full-service U.S. business law firm, is pleased to announce that its Labor and Employment Group continues to grow with the addition of Daniel Mueller, Esq. who has joined the Portland office as of-counsel.

Dan has extensive experience in traditional labor law (NLRB law) and employment law. Before joining Stoel Rives, Dan held several positions with the National Labor Relations Board. As NLRB Field Attorney in Portland, he investigated charges of unfair labor practices, conducted elections, and litigated cases in U.S. District Court and before Administrative Law Judges. At the NLRB in Washington, D.C., Dan served as Executive Assistant to former NLRB Chairman Peter C. Schaumber, and as a senior counsel on the staff of former NLRB Chairman Robert J. Battista. Dan also served as Attorney-Adviser on labor and employment legislation and NLRB practice to Senator Mike Enzi, Ranking Member, U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor & Pensions.

Prior to joining the NLRB, Dan represented management as a partner/director at Hawaii's two premier labor and employment law firms. Dan is a graduate of William S. Richardson School of Law, University of Hawaii (J.D., 1995), and University of Hawaii (B.A., 1992). He is admitted to the state bar of Hawaii, and admittance to the Oregon bar is pending.
