Partner Allison Reynolds Named a Portland Business Journal 2024 ‘40 Under 40’ Award Winner

PORTLAND, Ore.—Stoel Rives LLP is pleased to announce that land use partner Allison J. Reynolds has been selected to receive the Portland Business Journal 2024 40 Under 40 award. Reynolds and the other awardees, chosen from nearly 300 nominees based on their career achievements, leadership, influence, and impact within their communities and industries, will be honored on July 11 at the Sentinel in downtown Portland. Reynolds, who practices in Stoel Rives’ Environment, Land Use & Natural Resources group, focuses on helping residential, commercial, and industrial developers and companies navigate all phases of Oregon and Washington’s land use entitlement process. She has worked to bring residential, commercial, and public green spaces to the community through waterfront redevelopment in Portland and Vancouver, Wash.; serve the needs of businesses and residential communities through the development of new mixed-use, commercial, and multi-family housing projects; provide specialized housing and assisted living developments to meet the evolving needs of seniors; and increase much-needed affordable housing in Portland.

Reynolds is involved in shaping public policy on housing, affordability and homelessness, downtown revitalization, industrial land supply, and other vital issues facing Portland and surrounding areas. She works with organizations shaping state and local policies to promote economically vital, socially inclusive, and environmentally sustainable development. Through volunteer leadership roles with NAIOP (the Commercial Real Estate Development Association), Oregon Smart Growth, and the Portland Metro Chamber, she works with City leaders to pursue opportunities that improve life in Portland.

At Stoel Rives, Reynolds is involved with the firm’s “Dirt and Development” group, which brings together attorneys in every practice group involved in Portland development work. She also serves on Stoel Rives’ recruiting committee in Portland and is a coach and mentor to the firm’s young attorneys.

Reynolds was recently named a Rising Star “Woman of Influence” in the commercial real estate industry by GlobeSt.com.
